Kellie Harley

안녕하세요, nice to meet you. I’m Kellie! I’m a third block nursing student at Eastern Arizona College. Before becoming a nursing student, I worked as a Project Manager for Schneider Electric. In 2013 I earned my BSE in Industrial Engineering. During engineering school, I gained experience in Hospital Operations Research when I worked for Phoenix Children’s Hospital to optimize their imaging processing. I am currently working as a Monitor Tech/LNA at Arizona General. In my spare time, I enjoy camping and off-roading with my husband, two little boys, and our dog. I also run an Etsy shop and enjoy studying Korean and listening to music.

Nursing Philosophy

Nursing Goals

Nursing is both a science and an art. Nursing allows me to be able to use evidence-based practice to care for others. It allows me to serve those around me and build up my community. Nursing is critical thinking blended with ethics and charity. Nursing is blind to the differences of all people, no matter who they are, where they are, or what they’ve done. Nursing is having charity for your fellow men and women by serving them, advocating for them, and striving to understand them.
